MOWBRECK LANE DEVELOPMENT PUBLIC INQUIRY

                    DECISION DUE MID APRIL


 WESHAM TOWN COUNCIL & WESHAM ACTION GROUP

Since 2008 Wesham Town Council and WAG have repeatedly opposed the development of housing on the land to the North of Mowbreck Lane, Wesham.
FBC's Planning Committee have refused the application (11/0763) resulting in an appeal. 

    A Public Inquiry will commence at 10am on Tuesday 19th February

 Please come along to express your views to the Inspector or simply attend to show your concern.

Please note : (Registration is required at 10am on the 19th if you wish to speak. You may come and go throughout the inquiry at your convenience.)

The final day of the Inquiry is Thursday 28th Feb when the appellant will be summing up. It will then be up to the Inspector to reach his decision. The results will be published on this site when they are announced.

Any news on the outcome of the enquiry...well past mid april

We were advised that the enquiry decision date would be mid April. We all await this overdue announcement. There has been no other official statement to indicate when the decision result will be made.

We are still awaiting the decision despite being told it would be mid April.
Wesham Town Council will be hosting an event at the Community Centre on July 5th at 7.00pm to discuss the 'Fylde Local Plan to 2030' which includes the area of land in question.
More details to follow.
